Application Process for UK universities

The UK offers a relatively straightforward admission process, which can be done online and a relatively easy documentation process in comparison to other English-speaking countries. Most UK Universities will have a similar application process, but some universities may require separate special documents depending on the courses chosen and the Universities.

We have outlined all the steps in the application process for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the UK university application process.

The application process includes:

  • Submit the university application form along with all your academic documents
  • After an evaluation period of 1 to 2 weeks, receive Offer Letter.
  • Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Nepal government website.
  • Ensure sufficient funds to (covering 1-year tuition fees or initial deposit depending on university and 9 months of living expenses, either by maintaining them in a bank account for (at least 28 days) or by applying for an Education Loan. For Greater London, ensure a monthly expense of £1300-£1400, and for areas outside London, aim for £900-£1300 per month of your course.
  • Obtain a TB test (Tuberculosis test) certificate from IOM .
  • Confirm fee payment.
  • Submit financial documents.
  • Apply for CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies).
  • Prepare for Pre CAS-Interview from the University
  • Receive CAS.
Once you have your CAS, you can apply for a VISA.
