- Choose a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) Program: Select a program that aligns with your interest and career goals. Ensure the institution is a DLI recognized by the Canadian government and verify if the program is eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
- Check Eligibility Requirements: Examining the eligibility requirements comes next once you’ve selected the course you want to take and have made a selection of universities. Verify your eligibility for the selected course and make a note of all the documents needed for the application.
- Submit Application: Gather and submit all required documents including academic transcripts, passport, and English proficiency test scores.
- Obtain Offer letter: Once accepted, you will receive offer letter from the DLI. Note the initial deposit deadline, typically within 20 days.
- Apply for NOC: Apply for the No Objection Certificate (NOC), which is required during initial deposit.
- Make Initial Deposit: Make the initial deposit as per the offer letter requirements.
- Obtain Letter of Acceptance (LOA): After making initial payment, you will receive Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the DLI. The LOA must contain specific information required by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
- Request for PAL: After you receive LOA, you can request a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) if needed.
- Pay remaining Tuition fee: Pay the remaining tuition fee for the entire first year of study mentioned in your Letter of Acceptance (LOA). After paying your tuition fees to the university, you will receive a payment receipt. It’s crucial to keep this receipt safe, as you will need to submit it as part of your study permit application.
